The problem
A PDF résumé does not show how someone makes technical decisions or the quality of their work.
What I delivered
- A site in Portuguese and English, with light and dark themes.
- A blog and content panel with version history.
- Hexagonal architecture in a monorepo, with dependency rules checked in CI.
- PRD, architecture and decisions published alongside the code.
Technical decisions
Hexagonal architecture on a small project
Business rules depend on no external library and can be tested without a database.
Trade-off: more layers and files than a site this size would require.
Fastify API inside Next.js
The same API serves the admin panel over HTTP and is called directly by pages on the server, with no network hop.
Trade-off: custom setup to integrate the two.
Outcome
Site live, with the whole process open to review.
